Sauna Bench Protection Oil - Supi Sauna Bench Protection

Paraffin protective oil for wooden surfaces against moisture and dirt.

RECOMMENDED USE: For unprotected or oil-treated wooden saunas in saunas.

8 - 15 m2 / l depending on the porosity of the surface:

Ribbed surface - 8 m2 / l

Smooth surface - 15 m2 / l

Color Palette: Colorless, depending on the color of the wood

Method of application: Brush or clean cloth

Drying time at 23°C and 50% relative humidity: Ready to use when the oil is absorbed into the wood. The rate of absorption depends on the porosity of the wood.

APPLICATION DETAILS

Application conditions: The surface to be treated must be dry, air temperature at least +5°C and relative humidity below 80%.

Preparation: Wash surfaces with Supi Saunapes cleaner according to instructions, rinse and allow to dry. Sand if necessary and remove dust from sanding.

Coating: Apply Supi Sauna Bench Protection with a brush or clean cloth and allow the oil to soak into the wood. If the oil is immediately absorbed into the surface, repeat the treatment. Heat the sauna and wipe off the excess oil with a clean cloth

Cleaning of tools: Wash tools with water or Tikkurila Pensselipes (tool cleaner)

Maintenance instructions: Clean up to one month after application at the earliest. Cleaning the surface with Supi Saunapes cleaner (1-2 dl of cleaner in 5 liters of water). Use undiluted stain remover. To whiten the bench, use Supi Saunapes with a 1: 1 mixture mixed with water, leave it to act for 15 minutes and rinse well. Treat again with Supi Bench Protection, if necessary.
