Preparation:
Unpainted surfaces: Clean all surfaces from dirt and dust. Moisten slightly with water spray, leave to dry and grind loose wood fibers. Remove dust from sanding.
Old dirty and pre-treated wooden surfaces with eg Soupi Sauna Finish: Wash surfaces with Supi Saunapes cleaner according to instructions, rinse and allow to dry.
Coating: Stir Supi Arctic appropriately, from time to time as well as during use. Treat the walls of steam rooms with tinted Supi Arctic. Dilute with water if needed. Also, the walls of steam rooms can be treated twice, diluted with water up to 50%. This way the brush strips will be less visible. Treat the surfaces of locker rooms and bathrooms first with Supi Arctic diluted water up to 20%, and then with undiluted product. Make a trial application in an inconspicuous place to check the shade of the product. When the product is diluted, the shade of the product is slightly lighter and more transparent than shown in the tone chart. The characteristics of the wood and previous surface treatments affect the final shade. Treat smaller areas of the whole without interruption and large panel areas of 1-2 panels at the same time to achieve a uniform appearance. You can also achieve the appropriate shade on the benches - without the pearl effect - by toning the Supi Sauna wax in accordance with the Valtti Arctic tone chart. Heat and ventilate saunas before use.
Cleaning tools: Remove excess paint from tools and wash with water. It is recommended to use Tikkurila Pensselipes (tool cleaner) when cleaning the hardened paint from the brush.
