Protection of wooden surfaces in open spaces

Wood surfaces are highly susceptible to rainfall and sunlight.

1) Before oiling, the terrace must be thoroughly washed. Remove dirt, mold. Rinse with clean water and let dry overnight.

2) Application of oil with a brush. The painting process will take less time if we use an extension brush. To avoid stains, we recommend placing the paint can on a piece of paper. Distribute a moderate amount of oil over 2-3 boards at once. For better absorption, press the brush more tightly and apply along the grain of the wood. After 10 minutes, wipe the surface with a dry cloth and leave to dry for 1 day.

3) Oil application with Tikkurila applicator. Thanks to its convenient shape, it is very convenient for them to handle the spaces between the boards. Squeeze out excess paint from the applicator and apply paint to 2 boards at a time. After 10 minutes, wipe the surface with a dry cloth and leave to dry for 1 day.

4) Completion. Finishing work - tightly close the lid of the can. Clean tools with soap and water.

Oiled surfaces are very easy to maintain. Dirt or dust can be removed by lightly wiping the surface with a damp cloth.
